I've meant to read Cory Doctorow's "Enshittification" book for some time and I enjoyed his take on decay of modern tech platforms. I also did a dive into two different perspectives on taxation in the U.S. (riveting, I know). Is the U.S. system more or less progressive than comparable countries? Is a wealth tax a viable idea? Will we ever be able to stop adding to the national debt, let alone pay it down? I found two podcasts that answered these questions in a thoughtful and lively manner.
Finally, I took a ton of pictures in recent months, especially in the photogenic cities of Boston and Charlotte. It's always nice to see snowdrifts give way to buds and birds when I look through my photo files.
Thanks for reading,
Andrew
